2020.01 Floor Lamp Plaster

Studio Haos pursue a philosophy of restraint: raw, sculptural forms rendered in oak, bronze and ceramic, made in collaboration with French artisans. The 2020.01 Floor Lamp in Plaster achieves a Brancusi-like ascetic form of beauty, its tapering silhouette pared down until only the essential gesture of the shape remains, a study in balance between the raw weight of plaster and the discipline of an almost sculptural restraint. Available in a limited edition of twelve, the lamp is entirely hand-finished in plaster, its chalky surface diffusing light with a soft, matte glow rather than a hard shine. Because each piece is worked by hand, subtle variations in texture and tone are part of its character, making every lamp in the edition quietly unique.
