“Two Tone” Ashtray by Charlotte Taylor

Charlotte Taylor’s Two Tone trinket bowl pairs a base in raw pine with a top in stained oak, a small, pocket-sized object that puts two very different wood tones edge to edge rather than blending them. Equally happy holding keys as it is stubbing out a cigarette, it is the kind of small object that holds a quiet strength that transcends trends — a piece built to feel inevitable rather than fashionable.
