Bao Armchair White

The Bao Armchair softens a mid-century silhouette into an enveloping form upholstered here in white curly shearling, its rounded, cocoon-like shape designed to hold the body rather than simply support it. Set on a swivel base, the chair combines the tactile pleasure of shearling — dense, textured, warm to the touch — with the effortless movement of a rotating seat, updating a period design language for contemporary living without losing its original softness of form. It reads as much like a piece of sculpture as a chair.
