Black & White Pine

Black & White Pine reprises one of Objekti’s most recognisable silhouettes, made with Mexican artisan families practising Pre-Columbian pottery techniques. Each triangular scale across its surface is applied entirely by hand, one seed at a time.

Hand-carved in clay with a glazed black and white finish achieved through copper sulphate glazing and multiple firings, Black & White Pine varies slightly in shape and shade from piece to piece, bespoke colours available on request. Each triangle is formed from many individually hand-applied seeds and finished off with a majestic lid, a slow, meticulous process typical of every Objekti piece.
