Black Pine

Black Pine is the enduring grand dame of the Objekti collection, made with Mexican artisan families who still practise Pre-Columbian pottery techniques. Its timeless design fits equally into traditional and contemporary homes.

Hand-carved in clay with a glazed black finish achieved through copper sulphate glazing and multiple firings, Black Pine varies slightly in shape and shade from piece to piece, bespoke colours available on request. Its surface is built from countless individually hand-applied clay seeds in the pina-inspired spiked pattern that defines the Objekti silhouette, a technique drawn directly from Pre-Columbian pottery.
