Elytre Pendant Black

Emmanuel Levet Stenne designs lighting and furniture from his workshop near Fontainebleau, guided by a quest for simplicity and balance, pairing brass with stone, wood or glass, and collaborating closely with artisans who polish alabaster and marble until the material seems almost to hold an emotion.

In its black finish, the Elytre Pendant reveals a darker, more graphic side of Emmanuel Levet Stenne’s insect-inspired design, its blown white Opalin glass sphere now framed by patinated brass. The contrast between the softly lit glass and the darkened metal case gives the piece a quiet intensity, as though the sphere were caught mid-repose, protected by its own carapace.
