The lips motif belongs to a specific lineage in French visual culture — from Surrealist photography to the graphic vocabulary of postwar fashion — where the mouth becomes sign, ornament, and gesture at once. Jérôme Faillant-Dumas, whose eye was trained over fifteen years at Yves Saint Laurent and later at Chanel under Jacques Helleu, brings that same instinct for graphic economy to linen: a single embroidered form in a saturated green, set against the crispness of fine cotton. It sits alongside its Gold Lips counterpart, part of a small family of statement pieces built on the same idea in different registers. On a bed otherwise dressed with restraint, it plays the role of the one deliberate, Parisian flourish.
