The Olfactory Column Travertine x Sophie Dries is a scented sculpture built from brass, travertine, and burnt cork, diffusing the herbal, resinous scent of a walk through the woods rather than relying on a conventional candle or diffuser. It is as much an object of contemplation as of fragrance.

Designed by Sophie Dries in collaboration with Maison D’ORSAY, the piece pairs mineral, metallic, and vegetal materials in a mesmerizing limited edition. Each variant of the column mixes its materials slightly differently, making the object a small, sculptural study in scent as much as form.
