Sothis Dining Table

Every piece to leave the atelier channels the house’s signature eclecticism: saturated colour, exceptional French craftsmanship, and a fearless mix of global influences, from African sculpture to Brazilian modernism to the glamour of Art Deco Paris.

The Sothis dining table by Pinto pays tribute to the Nile, its pedestal-like base formed of rushes skilfully woven in bronze, as though gathered along a riverbank. Above rests a top in soft white marble, offered like an offering to the river’s ancient goddess of fertility, the cool stone and warm metal together giving the table a quiet, ceremonial gravity.
