Tao II Side Table

Bronze has been cast for thousands of years because it takes every nuance of a mould and holds it for generations. In this taller, more upright piece from the Tao collection, Gustavo Neves uses that quality to keep the volumes fluid, one shape flowing into the next as if never separated. Polishing draws out the alloy’s golden warmth, while the oxidised, dark and titanium finishes shift it toward brown, near-black or metallic tones. It works as a drinks table or a sculptural accent in a reading corner.
