Transformed fossil, the Cabinet Bloc by Pierre Bonnefille is worked like a monolith. The block of material rests on four patinated brass claws that contrast with the preciousness of the raw object. The Cabinet Bloc was presented for the first time at the PAD, London in 2016, then at Nomad St Moritz in 2018 and at the AD Intérieurs 2019 exhibition at the Hôtel de Coulanges in Paris. This cabinet, edition of 8+2, is handmade in the artist’s studio in Paris.
